That's right. These are men's shoes. But does that matter? NO! They were cheap and cute, so why not? It's easier for girls to wear guy's clothing than for guys to wear girls clothing. If girls can wear shirts made for men, shoes are an exception as well. :)  If it is a little too boyish looking, just wear some girly pieces with it for a contrast! Try a floral pattern or a cardigan!
For the not so girly look, try wearing it with khakis like in the picture! I was wearing these khakis and a grey crew neck when I got these and I felt like I could dance/bboy at that moment. If only. Try some lighter jeans or even colored jeans to go with these shoes! Don't forget a beanie to top it off!
These shoes were on clearance at my local Target for $7.48! What a steal. The biggest size I could find was a size 6 though and it just barely fits. My regular shoe size is around an 8. The brand is called Cherokee. The material is a a soft and suede like and the laces are really nice as well. Quick! There weren't many left at Target so go as soon as you can!

If you don't know, a thrift store is a store that takes donated clothes to sell them for a profit that usually goes to a charity organization. One of these places is Goodwill! You may be thinking that it is gross to buy used clothes, but these clothes are gently used, so there is really nothing to worry about. You can get these item so much cheaper at a thrift store than buying them at the original store which is a plus in addition to the profits going to charity. There are so many great things at thrift stores! Every piece is unique and sometimes you can even find brand name stuff if that matters! Clothes aren't the only thing Goodwill sells; they also sell shoes, belts, hats, scarves, furniture, jewelry, and much more! So find your local thrift store and go already! If this post and Macklemore hasn't convinced you already, all I can say is you're missing out!

We have just recently started shopping at thrift stores this past year, and it's one of the best decisions we've made. :) It's always to fun to go as well because you never know what you will find! Try on different styles you've always wanted to and make it your own! This section was made to showcase our thrifts as well as hauls from other non thrift stores.

This first item is a blue turtleneck! I love the color because the blue just pops out beautifully. Another thing I like is the fact that it is 3/4 sleeves so I can wear it any season! You can either dress up or dress down a turtleneck depending on the occasion. To make it a little fancy, try wearing it with a jacket similar to a trench or pea coat or even a blazer and add in a necklace. For a casual day, wear it with a cardigan or a jean vest or to put both together, a vest cardigan!

This may look weird in the picture or even on the hanger, and many things may in the shop, but still try it on! It could look completely different once you're wearing it! That's what happened with this black button down. It's so light and made of this smooth material, and it's actually looks good once it's on!

Cardigans are the best. I love cardigans. :) This is a chunky, cream colored cardigan that is perfect for those days you just want to be comfortable and cozy!

The picture quality really toned down the color here as the green is actually much brighter than shown. This is a cute striped sweater that may be a size too big, but that's what makes it great! Oversized sweaters are always wonderful to wear. So cute, yet comfy.

I also ended up getting two pairs of jeans and chunky, grey scarf. The pants are a light grey color and khaki colored. If the pant's don't fit perfectly, I'd say that's alright! You can always tailor them a little to make them fit better if you have a sewing machine or can hand sew. There may be a post coming up soon on how exactly to do that! I got all this for only 27 dollars! That's pretty awesome if I do say so myself. :) And as the quote above says, it's a new era in fashion; wear what you want, wherever it comes from!
